  • Actor Sridevi posthumously won the Best Actress Awards 2018. The Award was given for her role in film ‘MOM’.
  • Bengali Actor Riddhi Sen got the Best Actor Award for movie Nagar Kirtan.
  • The Best Feature Film Award went to Oscars was Assamese film Village Rockstars.
  • Dada Saheb Phalke Award was given to Actor Vinod Khanna.
  • Kamaljit Bawa, an Indian Botanist received ‘Linnean Medal’ for his research on evolution of tropical plants, tropical deforestation and non-timber forest products. She is the first Indian to be conferred with this award.
