The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducted the Regional Rural Banks Officer Scale – I preliminary examination for this year on the 11th and 12th of August, 2018. The exam had been taken place in eight different shifts in two days.

The level of difficulty for the Quantitative Aptitude section was moderate but the questions were very time to consume and calculative as well. As there has been a trend of having questions from simplification and approximation, in the IBPS RRB Officer Scale -I preliminary exam. But in this shift of the IBPS RRB Officer Scale – I examination, there were no questions on these topics.
A huge number of questions were asked about the word problems, which most of the students ignore or don’t prepare much for. So, mark one thing here, that you have to prepare yourself for all the conditions and you should have a good command on each and every single topic. You just can’t ignore anything.
The plus point here was that there were around 4 to 5 questions, which were indirectly related to the approximation but are actually in the form of word problems.

Around 60% to 70% questions were from puzzles and seating arrangement only. So, for the people who find these topics as the toughest ones, has to start preparing for them as soon as possible because this is what the new trend is.

So, if we start talking about the DAY -2 SHIFT – 4 examination, then the first thing that candidates want to know about is the difficulty level of the examination, so on an overall basis, the examination was of the Moderate level.
Now, let’s go through into section wise analysis and firstly check the safe number or the good number of attempts in both the reasoning and aptitude section, so that, you people can mark yourself as safe or unsafe.

DAY 2 SHIFT – 4 IBPS RRB Examination 2018 Exam Analysis of Quantitative Aptitude Section
The level of difficulty for the Quantitative Aptitude section was moderate but the questions were very time to consume and calculative as well. As there has been a trend of having multiple questions from simplification and approximation, in the IBPS RRB Officer Scale -I preliminary exam. But in this shift of the IBPS RRB Officer Scale – I examination, there were only 5 questions from these topics.
A huge number of questions were asked about the word problems, which most of the students ignore or don’t prepare much for. So, mark one thing here, that you have to prepare yourself for all the conditions and you should have a good command on each and every single topic. You just can’t ignore anything.
There were only two DI’s in this DAY 2 SHIFT 4 examination.

DAY 2 SHIFT – 4 IBPS RRB Examination 2018 Exam Analysis of Reasoning Ability Section
The level of the Reasoning Ability section was also Moderate. There was hardly anything other than the puzzles and the seating arrangement questions in the SHIFT – 4.
Around 50% to 60% questions were from puzzles and seating arrangement only. So, for the people who find these topics as the toughest ones, has to start preparing for them as soon as possible because this is what the new trend is.
You will not be able to survive any banking examination without preparing these topics. There was a total of 5 puzzles and seating arrangements which contained 25 questions out of the total of 40 questions.
