  • 3 years of age relaxation for OBC candidates.
  • Age relaxation of 10 years for PWD candidates.
  • 5 years of age relaxation for ex-servicemen (army personnel) candidates.
  • Age relaxation of 9 years for widows / divorced women candidates.
  • J & K domicile person during the period from 01/ 01/ 1980 to 31/ 12/ 1989 will get age relaxation of 5 years.
  • For the persons affected by 1984 riots, 5 years of age relaxation has been given.

  1. Is the IBPS PO exam is going to be bilingual?

The preliminary exam will have reasoning and aptitude section to be bilingual and in the mains examination, the objective examination part will have all the sections other than the English language to be bilingual. This is not applicable to the mains descriptive test of English.

  1. What about negative marking in IBPS PO preliminary and mains examination?

There will be negative marking of one-fourth of the marks allotted to the question, for each wrong answer in both the papers – preliminary and mains objective exam. No negative marking is there in the descriptive exam.
