The Reserve Bank of India conducted the Grade – B Phase – I examination for this year on 16th of August, 2018. The exam had taken place in two different shifts on a single day.

The examination of the RBI Grade – B Phase – I was conducted on the 16th of August 2018. The examination in the first shift was considered to be moderate to difficult on the difficulty level.

On an overall basis, the maximum number of questions that a candidate can attempt in the slot – I examination would be around 100. There were some questions which were actually time to consume. Also, there was no question in the overall examination which we can consider as an easy question.

RBI Grade – B Phase – I Exam Analysis 2018 Slot – I (Quantitative Aptitude)

The level of difficulty for the Quantitative Aptitude section was moderate to difficult level, and the questions were very time consuming and calculative as well. As we all know that there has been a trend of having questions from simplification and approximation, in various banking preliminary exam. But in this shift of the RBI Grade – B Phase – I examination, there were no questions about these topics.

RBI Grade – B Phase – I Exam Analysis 2018 Slot – I (English Language)

The English Language section of the slot – I of RBI Grade – B Phase – I examination was in between moderate to difficult on the difficulty level. The questions were not easy at all.

There were questions about reading comprehension, error detection, etc. The number of questions from the vocabulary part was not much. The main focus was on the grammatical portions.

RBI Grade – B Phase – I Exam Analysis 2018 Slot – I (Reasoning Ability)

The level of the Reasoning Ability section was also Moderate. There was hardly anything other than the puzzles and the seating arrangement questions in the Slot – I.

Around 40% to 45% questions were from puzzles and seating arrangement only. So, for the people who find these topics as the toughest ones, has to start preparing for them as soon as possible because this is what the new trend is.

You will not be able to survive any banking examination without preparing these topics. There was a total of 4 puzzles and seating arrangements which contained 20 questions out of the total of 60 questions.

The overall level of the General Awareness section was difficult actually. There were questions about banking awareness, current affairs, etc.

This section in RBI Grade – B Phase – I examination was moderate on the difficulty level if you have prepared the General Awareness section thoroughly.
