Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2018
Bank of Baroda has released its recruitment notification for its nine-month Post Graduate Certification in Banking and Finance course in Baroda Manipal School of Banking.
After the successful completion of this 9-month course the candidate will be offered a Post Graduate Certificate in Banking and Finance and will also get the appointment in the Bank of Baroda as a Probationary Officer in Junior Management Grade / Scale – I.
Once the candidate joins the Bank of Baroda, a three-month WIL (Work Integrated Learning) in form of on job training will be carried out. After completing this training, the candidate will be awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).

Bank of Baroda Vacancies
The total number of vacancies for this recruitment is 600, which will be divided into different batches as decided by the bank and as per the requirement of the bank.
The total number of vacancies can vary depending upon the future needs and requirements of the bank.

Bank of Baroda Programme Fees
The fees for the whole course including the boarding, lodging, course fees and other fees will be Rs. 3, 45, 000/- (plus taxes as applicable).
The students are required to pay for the certification that will be conducted by the bank during the nine-month course duration. The certification fees will be Rs. 2,500/- per candidate.
Bank of Baroda Financing or Loan
Students can finance the course fees from the Bank of Baroda by taking an education loan. The bank of Baroda will grant the loan with a high concession rate of interest of 8% p.a. only. The EMI of this education loan will start after the completion of the course duration. There will be no recovery of EMIs during the training period. The EMI’s will be spread over a period of 84 months or 7 years.
The candidate can also avail loan for the purchase of a laptop as well. The amount has to be under the maximum limit of Rs. 35, 000/-.

Bank of Baroda Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
- Candidates having a certificate of the citizen of India are eligible.
- Candidates, who are the citizen of either Bhutan or Nepal or Bangladesh, are eligible only when they have a valid certificate stating that they have permanent intention to settle in India.
Age Limit
- The age for General category candidates should be in between 20 years to 28 years.
- Age relaxation of 5 years has been given to SC / ST candidates.
- 3 years of age relaxation for OBC candidates.
- Age relaxation of 10 years for PWD (Gen) candidates.
- 15 years of age relaxation for PWD (SC / ST) candidates.
- Age relaxation of 13 years for PWD (OBC) candidates.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates who have passed their graduation from any recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the central government.
- The candidate should have 55% of marks in aggregate in the graduation.
- The percentage of aggregate marks should have to 50% in case of SC, ST and PWD candidates.

Bank of Baroda Selection Procedure
The candidates need to go through the following procedure to getting selected for this recruitment process.
The step one is the online examination. This online examination will be in two different parts. The part one will consist of questions from reasoning section, aptitude section, computers, English language and general and banking awareness. The total number of questions will be 160 and the maximum marks will be 200. The candidate has to clear both the sectional as well as the overall cut off to clear this exam. The total time allotted for this part one exam will be of 2 and a half hours.

The part two online exam is actually a written or subjective exam. Here the candidates are required to answer only 2 questions which will be based on the English language. The questions will in the form of essay and letter writing. This part two of the online examination will only be checked if the candidate has scored or has cleared the cut off of the objective test.
The next level of this recruitment process is the Group Discussion and Interview.

- Bank has the rights to modify the structure of the examination.
- One-fourth of the marks allotted to a question will be deducted if the candidate answers the question wrong.
- No marks will be awarded or deducted for the questions left unanswered.

Bank of Baroda Results
The date of the results has not been mentioned in the official notification declared by the Bank of Baroda. But the results are expected to be declared within 10 to 15 days after the examination takes place. The tentative date of examination is 28th, July 2018.
