QUE:-1 A book exhibition was held for four days in a school . the numbers of ticket sold at the counter on the first ,second, third and final days was respectively 1094 ,1812,2050,and 2751. find the total numbers of tickets sold all of the four days.
sol:-
numbers of ticket sold on 1st day =1094
2nd day =1812
3rd day = 2050
4th day =2751
total numbers of ticket sold = 1094+1812+2050+2751=7707 tickets
QUE:-2 Shekhar is a famous cricket player . he has so far scored 6980 runs in test matches . he wishes tocomplete 10,000 runs .how many more runs does he need ?
SOL:-
Shekhar scored = 6980
he want complete=10000
run need more =10000-6980=3020
QUE:-3 In an election , the successful candidate registered 5,77,500 votes and his nearest rival secured 3,48,700 votes .by what margin did tha successful candidate win the election ?
SOL:-
No.of votes secured by successful candidate = 577500
No. of votes secured by his rival =348700
margine by which he won election =577500-348700=228800 vote
hence he won by the margine of 2288800 votes
QUE:-4 Kirti bookstore sold books worth rs 2,85,891 in the first weekof june and books worth of rs 4,00,768 in the second week of the month . how much was the sale for the two weeks together ?in which week was the sale greater and by how much ?

Price of books sold in june frist week = 285891
Price of books sold in june second week=400768
no. of books sold in both week =285891+400768=686659
diffrence in the sale in both week =400768-285891=114877
