SBI  clerk recruitment 2020 – 8134 Vacancies

State bank of India has released vacancies for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in Clerical Cadre (Regular & Backlog ) vacancies. There are total 8134 vacancies. The candidates who fulfill all the eligibility criteria can apply directly from the direct link give below –

Important Dates –

Start date for applying and payment of fee January 3rd 2020
Last date for applying and payment of fee January 26th 2020
Last date for printing application February 10th 2020
Tentative date of preliminary exam February / March 2020
Date of downloading admit card for prelims exam (tentative) February  11th 2020
Date of downloading admit card for mains exam (tentative) 2nd week of April 2020
Tentative date of mains exam April 4th 2020

Application fees ( non – refundable )

  • ST / SC / PWD  – Nill
  • General / OBC / EWS – rupees  750 / –

SBI Clerk Registration Fees can be paid in online mode via Debit Card / Credit Card or Net banking by January 26, 2020.

Note :- Candidates must save a copy of their filled-in application form and fee receipt for future reference.

Eligibility

Nationality :- Indian citizenship

Age limit :- applicant must be between 20 to 28 years as on  1st January 2020

Age relaxation :-

  • SC / ST :- 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes ( OBC ) :- 3 years
  • PWD ( Gen ) :- 10 years
  • SC / ST PWD candidates :- 15 years
  • PWD ( OBC ) :- 13  years

Education Qualification :-

  • Graduation in any discipline

Selection Process –

The selection process includes three phases –

Phase 1 – Preliminary exam (computer based), objective type, total marks 100, duration of exam- 60 minutes, negative marking – 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. There will be sectional timing pf 20 minutes for each section.  Syllabus for the prelims is given below.

  1. English Language – 30 questions
  2. Numerical Ability – 35 questions
  3. Reasoning Ability – 35 questions

Phase 2 – Mains exam (computer based), objective type, total marks 200, duration of exam – 2 hours and 40 minutes, negative marking – 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. Syllabus for the mains examination is given below.

  1. General/ Financial Awareness – 50 marks – 35 minutes (sectional timing)
  2. General English – 40 marks – 35 minutes
  3. Quantitative Aptitude – 50 marks – 45 minutes
  4. Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude – 50 marks- 45 minutes

Phase 3 – Test of opted language

The final merit list will be made only on the basis of the candidate’s marks in mains.

Pay Scale :-

The starting Basic Pay is Rs.13075/- (Rs11765/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates)

Probation period :-

The selected candidates will have to go through the probation period of 6 months.

There is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer / Inter – State Transfer for Junior Associates to be recruited
