National Emergency

Artical 352 :-

Area :- All India or any part of India ( 42nd constitutional amendment, 1976 )

Necessary conditions – In case of war , external aggression or armed rebellion. ( replaced with internal  disturbances in 44th constitutional amendment, 1978 )

Method of issuing :- The president can issue a proclamation of emergency when the decision of the union cabinet is conveyed to him in writing.

 It has been issued 3 times till now.
