Recruitment Notification 2018

New India Assurance Corporation Limited has released its notification for the recruitment of Assistants in NIACL for the year 2018. The exam is expected to take place on the 8th and 9th of September, 2018. As NIACL is among the five completely owned insurance company by the Government of India, the number of candidates waiting for this recruitment notification are in lakhs.

Every year lakhs of students apply for the recruitment process of NIACL Assistant’s post. This year, NIACL has announced the recruitment for a total of 685 posts, all over the country. These vacancies are further divided into State/ Union Territory.

NIACL Exam 2018 Notification

The starting date for the registration and application submission is 16th of July, 2018. The last date for submitting the application is 31st of July, 2018.

The exam will be conducted into two phases. The preliminary exam is expected to be held on 8th and 9t of September 2018 and the mains examination will take place on 6th of October, 2018, tentatively.

NIACL Exam 2018 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for this exam are the same as before, no changes have been observed. The eligibility criteria involve nationality eligibility, age limit eligibility, and educational qualification eligibility. You have to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. In case you fill the form without checking the eligibility, and then found to be not eligible for the exam, then NIACL will disqualify your application.

Educational Qualification

Candidates who have passed their graduation from any recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the central government.

Age Limit

The age for General category candidates should be in between 21 years to 30 years.

Nationality

Candidates having the certificate of the citizen of India are eligible.

NIACL Exam 2018 Exam Pattern

The exam will take place in two phases.

NIACL Exam 2018 Preliminary Exam Pattern

The phase – I is an online objective exam which will be on the following pattern.

  • There will negative marking in the preliminary examination.
  • One-fourth of the marks allotted to the question will be deducted as negative marks.
  • The exam will be in both English and Hindi except the English Language test.
  • There will be sectional cut off as well as overall cut off.
  • There will be the sectional time of 20 minutes for each section.
  • Each question will contain 1 mark.

The exam pattern for the Mains Examination or the phase – II examination is given below.

  • There will be negative marking in the mains examination as well.
  • One-fourth of the marks allotted to the question will be deducted as negative marks.
  • Total marks obtained as above shall be proportionately reduced to a base of 35 marks.
  • The exam will be in both English and Hindi except the English Language test.
  • There will be an overall cut off.
  • After a candidate qualifies the online mains examination, he or she will be called for the Regional Language Test.
  • There will be no marks awarded for the Regional Language Test. It will only be qualifying in nature.

  • No refund of the application fees will be entertained.

NIACL Exam 2018 Exam Syllabus

The preliminary exam will consist of the main three sections, i.e., Reasoning, Numerical Ability and English. While on the other hand, the mains examination will have five sections, out of which the three are the same as in the preliminary examination and the other two are General Awareness and Computer Knowledge.
