IBPS RRB Notification 2018

IBPS has released the official notification for the RRB recruitment. IBPS conducts this exam of IBPS RRB every year for the requirement for the posts of Assistants and Officers in regional rural banks, across the country.

This year also the IBPS RRB notification for both of these exams has been officially released by the IBPS on 6th of June, 2018, on their official website. The link to the website is given below.

IBPS RRB Notification

As per the official notification, the starting date of the registration is 8th of June, 2018 and the registration can be done still 2nd of July. The preliminary exam for both the officer scale as well as for the office assistant scale will take place in the month of August 2018.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for this exam are same as before, no changes has been observed. The eligibility criteria involve nationality eligibility, age limit eligibility and educational qualification eligibility. You have to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. In case you fill the form without checking the eligibility, and then found to be not eligible for the exam, then IBPS has rights to disqualify your application.

Nationality

  1. Candidates having certificate of citizen of India are eligible.
  2. Candidates, who are citizen of either Bhutan or Nepal or Bangladesh, are eligible only when they have valid certificate stating that they have permanent intention to settle in India.

IBPS RRB Selection Procedure

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

The selection procedure for the post of office assistants includes two online examinations namely the preliminary examination and the mains examination. There will be no interview for this post. Officer Scale – I

If you are applying for the post of Officer scale – I, then you will have to go through three stages for getting this job. The first one is the preliminary examination, which will be an online computer based objective test. The second one is the mains examination, this will be again an online computer test and then in the end, there will be an interview.

Officer Scale – II and III

For the post of officer scale – II and III, you will only have to go through one single online objective test and the interview. The online test will be related to the post that you have applied for. You will be required to answer the questions from your respective fields.

How to apply for IBPS RRB

The steps to apply for IBPS RRB are given below.

  1. Visit the official apply link by clicking here.
  2. Select the post you need to apply for. It could be either office assistant (multipurpose) or officer scale – I, II, III or both. You can apply for both the posts as well, but one at a time.
  3. Click on the “click here to registration” button in yellow color. Fill the basic details required and submit the application. Do check the filled in details before submitting.
  4. You will be taken to a new page now, where you can see your registration number and password. You will also receive a message on your registered number regarding the registration getting done and will also get an e – mail for the same.
  5. Do save this registration number and password.
  6. Now, go the apply link and with the help of your registration number and password you can now login into your account and can fill in all the remaining details.
  7. Please do read the instructions carefully before filling the form. Also, check the size and extension of the photograph file and signature file, that you need to upload.
  8. After you are done with filling your form, you will be required to make the payment.
  9. You can go to the payment option and can make payment using wallets, net banking, debit cards, credit cards, etc.
  10. Once done, you will need to take a print out of the application form as well as of the invoice.

IBPS RRB Admit Cards

The date for the release of admit cards will be announced later. We will update the dates as they will get announced and also the link to download your admit cards will be provided.

IBPS RRB Results

IBPS has not released the results date by now. But, the final allotment is tentative to take place in the month of January 2019.
