  • When the registrations for the exam will starts?

The registrations have been already started from April 21st, 2018.

  • When will be the preliminary exam happen?

The tentative dates for the preliminary exam of SBI PO 2018 are in the first week of July. The dates are July 1st, 7th, and 8th, 2018.

  • When will the mains exam scheduled to take place?

The mains exam will take place on August 04th, 2018.

Eligibility Criteria

  • What are the age limit criteria for this exam?

The candidate has to be graduate from a recognized university.

  • How many attempts are there for SBI PO?

Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern

  • In how many phases the exam will take place?

There will be 3 stages or phases of the exam.

  • What is the selection procedure?

There will be three stages in the exam – preliminary exam followed by mains exam and then the group discussion and interview.

  • Is exam going to be bilingual?

The preliminary exam will have reasoning and aptitude section to be bilingual and in the mains examination objective examination, all the sections other than the English language will be bilingual. This is not applicable on the mains descriptive test of English.

  • What about negative marking?

There will be negative marking of one fourth of the marks allotted to the question, for each wrong answer in both the papers – preliminary and mains objective exam.

  • Is there will be interview in SBI PO 2018?

Yes, there will be interview.

  • What will be the cutoff of the exam?

There will be no sectional as well as no overall cutoff.

You need to register yourself and after the registration has been done, you just need to fill up the form and upload your passport size photograph and signature, and in the end need to make the payment using, either credit card or debit card or internet banking or any e – wallets.   • What is the application fee for the exam?

For general or OBC category candidates, it is Rs. 600/- and for others it is Rs. 100/-.

  • What modes of payment can be used?

You can make payments by using either credit cards or debit cards or wallets or internet banking or cash cards. (No challan system is there)

  • What documents do I need to upload while filling the form?

As being the PO, You have to handle works on daily customer transactions like – clearing a cheque, draft insurance, managing the cash in the branch, etc.
