कोविड -19 महामारी नियंत्रण को जारी किये गए लॉकडाउन की वजह से देश की अर्थव्यवस्था प्रभावित हुयी है। देश की अर्थव्यवस्था में सुधार करने के उद्देश्य से प्रधानमंत्री मोदी द्वारा 20 लाख करोड़ रुपये के आत्मनिर्भर भारत पैकेज की घोषणा की गयी है। इस पैकेज का विस्तृत विवरण वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण द्वारा चरणों में किया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में एग्री इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर पैकेज के अंतर्गत हर्बल खेती यानी औषधीय एवं सुगन्धित फसल विस्तार के लिए रु 4000 करोड़ के पैकेज का एलन किया गया है।
वित्त मंत्री के अनुसार औषधीय खेती के विस्तार के लिए नेशनल मेडिसिनल प्लांट्स बोर्ड द्वारा योजना तैयार की गयी है। जिसमें 1 लाख हेक्टेयर भूमि पर औषधीय एवं सुगन्धित फसलों की खेती के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जाएगा। इन योजनाओं का क्रियान्वयन आगामी 2 वर्षों में 4000 करोड़ रूपये की लागत से औषधीय पौधों की खेती, औषधीय एवं सुगन्धित पौधों की मंडीयां आदि बनाने पर खर्च किया जाएगा। इसके अतिरिक्त गंगा किनारे हजारों एकड़ की भूमि पर पौधा रोपण का अभियान चलाये जाने की भी योजना है। इस अभियान के लिए नेशनल मेडिसिनल प्लांट्स बोर्ड (NMPB) द्वारा 800 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र में कॉरिडोर विकसित किया जाएगा। इससे देश के किसानों को 5000 करोड़ रूपये की अतिरिक्त आमदनी होगी। आइये जाने औषधीय एवं सुगन्धित फसल क्षेत्र विस्तार योजना में सब्सिडी का लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए आवेदन की प्रक्रिया की जानकारी।
